The Woodlands, TX (November 27, 2012): During the month of October, patrons to Hubbell & Hudson in The Woodlands saw over a dozen items specifically identified with a pink sign denoting a healthy option and that a percentage of sales from each of those items would be donated back to The Breast Cancer Charities of America.
The campaign was a huge success for both Hubbell & Hudson and The Breast Cancer Charities of America…during the month of October, Hubbell & Hudson raised over $2,000 through their selected food choices in the Market. “We all are touched in some way by breast cancer” said Austin Simmons, Executive Chef at Hubbell & Hudson. “We felt that it was important to not only show our customers about healthy choices, but also take the opportunity to make a difference in the fight against breast cancer.”
“Hubbell & Hudson offers such a variety of gourmet, delicious and healthy foods, we were so honored when they joined as a partner to teach their customers about making healthy decisions and to make a difference” said Erica Tullis, Executive Director The Breast Cancer Charities of America.
The funds raised through Hubbell & Hudson’s partnership will benefit The Breast Cancer Charities of America leading program service, The Help Now Fund which pays for the rent and utilities of women going through breast cancer.
