The Woodlands, Texas (August 23, 2013): Hundreds of local Texans will gather in The Woodlands this September to sprint in high heels and do their part to help women going through breast cancer. The 4th Annual iGoPink Stiletto Sprint presented by Dr. Ray McLendon’s Clear Choice Orthodontic Associates will be held Saturday, September 14 at Market Street inThe Woodlands. The iGoPink Stiletto Sprint benefits the Breast Cancer Charities of America and registration is now open at www.igopink.org.
This fun, 50 meter dash is something that the whole family can enjoy! Race divisions for Top Stiletto Sprinter exist for women and most entertaining, for men! There is also a sneaker sprint for those less inclined to run in 3” heels and a mini sneaker sprint for the little “Divas in Training” and “Speed Demons”. Awards will be given to the winners of the races as well as “Best (Pink) Dressed” and Top Fundraiser.
This year the event, hosted by Michelle Merhar of Fox News, will commence with a warm-up provided by Jazzercise of The Woodlands and conclude with a VIPink Post Party at 1252 Tapas Bar. Entertainment will be provided by not only the men in high heels, but local cheer gym Sideline Spirit and entertainer David Pipkin. Early Packet pick-up will be hosted at lululemon athletica in Market Street on Thursday Sept. 12.
